FORCE: A Horizon Europe Project for AML and Crypto Compliance
FORCE is a four-year initiative running from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2029, focused on addressing the growing challenges of anti-money laundering (AML) and regulatory compliance in cryptocurrency and decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystems.
As digital finance continues to evolve rapidly, the project brings together academic institutions and innovative companies to develop next-generation tools that balance technological advancement with regulatory and ethical considerations.
The FORCE consortium unites partners from 10 countries (the United Kingdom, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Luxembourg, Ireland, Poland, Ukraine, Cyprus, and Germany) – creating a truly international and interdisciplinary collaboration. By combining expertise across AI, blockchain analytics, cryptography, financial regulation, and compliance, the project aims to deliver AML frameworks and tools that are robust, adaptable, and future-ready.
